Darcy and I were on our way to check out a daycare option three hours after it hailed. The roofs had been completely covered earlier in the morning. Some of the hail on the grass was still there at five in the afternoon even though part of the day was very sunny.Wednesday, January 6, 2010
Hail!
A few days after Christmas, we had a night of crazy rain. As Darcy was waking up, the noise level of the wind and rain increased dramatically. It was only when we opened the blinds that we figured out that part of the increased volume was HAIL. Serious hail. And thunder! And lightning!

Wow! I can only remember hail like that (and not even quite like that) once! It actually hurt because I was outside at the time. Ha. Great pictures. How is the daycare hunt going?
Eh. I went to one the other day that I would quit my job before letting Darcy spend the day there. But I have one good option and I'm hoping for one more so Michael can visit them and help make the final decision.
